Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental imaging. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care within a collaborative environment that values professionalism, patient comfort, and clinical excellence. Candidates should be familiar with dental office management systems such as Open Dental and committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and HIPAA compliance. Office boasts state of the art technology such as Full skull CBCT, Itero Lumina, Planmeca CAD/CAM for same day crowns, all electric handpieces, iPads for handpiece controls. Mentoring and training available from a Top 40 under 40 dentist in the nation. Start-up practice that opened in October and is open currently Fridays and Saturdays only and already fully booked for December. We are looking to open up one day during the week and more days as they become needed. $600/day or 30% adjusted production. Pay is semi-monthly.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and procedures.
  • Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other general dentistry services.
  • Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, performing oral examinations, and utilizing medical imaging techniques.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient records using electronic health record systems like Open Dental
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment options to promote long-term dental wellness.
  • Collaborate with staff to coordinate patient care and improve practice efficiency.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures to provide state-of-the-art care.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid state license to practice dentistry.
  • Experience in general dentistry; additional experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is preferred.
  • Proficiency with dental office software
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical documentation practices.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
  • Experience with pediatric patients is a plus; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is desirable.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication procedures, and utilize medical imaging tools effectively.
