Associate Dentist

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Provide general dental procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
• Administer anesthetics and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Maintain high-quality clinical standards and adhere to infection control protocols.

Patient Care & Communication

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and ensure a positive experience.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly and ethically.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinical operations.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education.
• Support practice goals, productivity targets, and patient satisfaction initiatives.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with legal and practice guidelines.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and best practices.

Qualifications:

• BDS degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license and certifications
• Strong clinical skills in general dentistry; specialty skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication, patient-care, and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
