Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Provide general dental procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
- Administer anesthetics and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
- Maintain high-quality clinical standards and adhere to infection control protocols.
Patient Care & Communication
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and ensure a positive experience.
- Communicate treatment plans clearly and ethically.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinical operations.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education.
- Support practice goals, productivity targets, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with legal and practice guidelines.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and best practices.
Qualifications:
- BDS degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license and certifications
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry; specialty skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication, patient-care, and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
