Overview
We are looking for the right person to join our busy practice with the opportunity to become an owner. Offering a draw with 35% of collections and you will pay 35% of your lab fee. We offer same day crowns at our office so you won't have a lab fee with crowns as long as you use the mill. Currently a 2 doctor practice with one doctor looking to cut back and eventually step away several years down the line. Busy modern office in a quickly growing area.
Duties
- Provide thorough dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using advanced medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Perform general dentistry procedures including dental cleanings, restorations, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions with precision and care.
- Conduct oral surgery and pediatric dentistry treatments tailored to pediatric patients and their unique needs.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental wellness.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery procedures.
- Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks including crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic devices.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
- Knowledge of infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
