Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and be proficient in a variety of dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the dental experience. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality services in a supportive environment. The candidate should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to clearly explain treatment plans while following all office compliance protocols.

Our practice prides itself on efficiency and patient satisfaction—maintaining a steady patient flow of 15–25 patients per day and seating/treating within 10 minutes to minimize wait times. Our office is known for its welcoming, friendly team environment, and we’re looking for someone who will integrate seamlessly. We accept many insurances plans including PPOs and Medicaid (MassHealth). The ideal candidate seeks part-time hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility. Additional shifts may be offered based on office needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform a range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy.
  • Execute dental extractions and other surgical procedures while adhering to proper aseptic techniques.
  • Use medical imaging technologies for accurate diagnostics and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance efficiency.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, including BORID, CDC, and OSHA guidelines.

Skills

  • Proficient in Eaglesoft.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and relevant medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy for effective treatment planning.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation processes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while providing high-quality patient care.
  • Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Experience with molar root canals and complex extractions is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $750.00 per day

Expected hours: 25 per week
