We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews.
- Diagnose dental issues using clinical evaluation and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform general dentistry procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Carry out specialized treatments including oral surgery, endodontics, and dental fabrication when necessary.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics is preferred.
- Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently for optimal patient experience.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper handling of medical records and documentation.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment options. Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
