Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, utilizing advanced clinical skills and a compassionate approach. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize dental software such as Dexis and Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Take and interpret medical imaging; apply knowledge of anatomy and medical/ dental terminology for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide patient education on oral health care, preventive practices, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
- Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice in the designated location.
- Experience in general dentistry; additional expertise in oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Pay: $10,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month
