Associate Dentist

ASSOCIATE DENTIST is needed to perform the following duties:

· Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns and formulate a treatment plan

· Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.

· Perform oral treatments including cleaning, fillings, root canals, and fixing and removing prosthetics

· Giving patients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments

· Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.

· Apply sealants to teeth and bleach and polish teeth for color restoration

· Refer patients to appropriate specialists when needed.

· Follow standard dentistry procedures and comply with company policies

· Use dental instruments safely to avoid accidents

· Educate patients on preventive dental care and oral health care

· Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions, proper brushing technique and cessation of bad oral habits, flossing and fluoride use

· Work with office staffs in managing patient appointments and scheduling to achieve productivity goals.

· Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them

· Educate staff regarding management of dental emergencies, proper sterilization techniques and chair side patient handling

Bachelor Degree is required in Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Medicine.
