Duties
- Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that meet individual needs.
- Administer oral surgeries such as dental extractions and manage complex cases involving endodontics like root canal therapy.
- Utilize dental imaging and medical documentation tools to accurately record patient information while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Practice infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, dental terminology, and treatment options to promote informed decision-making.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software Archy
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental fabrication techniques.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess and address individual needs compassionately.
- Familiarity with infection control standards, medical imaging technology, and root canal therapy techniques.
