Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and techniques, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to all safety and HIPAA regulations.

Duties

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Utilize dental imaging and medical documentation tools Dentrix
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient workflow through four-handed dentistry practices.
  • Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Keep accurate medical records and document procedures thoroughly in accordance with medical terminology standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, implantology, and dental fabrication techniques.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix for documentation and patient management.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions with precision and aseptic technique.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical records management.
  • Effective communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages.
  • Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly preferred. Pay: $192,391.59 - $231,697.39 per year
