Associate Dentist 2-Days/ Week

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice starting two days a week, hours 8-5. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
• Administer appropriate treatments including dental extractions, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Dental extractions
• Experience using intra-oral scanners
