Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate Dentist (Doctor of Dental Medicine/Dental Surgery - DMD/DDS) to join our dynamic dental team either full-time or part-time. Duties
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including general dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
- Perform dental examinations, patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Carry out dental procedures such as dental extractions, restorations, crowns, bridges, implants, and other restorative treatments.
- Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Take and interpret medical imaging (X-rays) while applying knowledge of anatomy to accurately diagnose issues.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to foster long-term wellness.
- Document all procedures thoroughly in medical records with accurate medical and dental terminology.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry techniques that optimize patient comfort and clinical productivity.
- Ensure all clinical activities comply with legal regulations and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
Experience
- Valid DMD or DDS license in good standing with the state licensing board.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties preferred.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Ability to perform dental extractions and root canal therapies efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique standards.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
