Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Associate Dentist (Doctor of Dental Medicine/Dental Surgery - DMD/DDS) to join our dynamic dental team either full-time or part-time. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment, utilizing your clinical expertise and passion for dentistry. The Associate Dentist will perform a wide range of dental procedures, collaborate with a skilled team, and help promote optimal oral health for patients of all ages. Duties

  • Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including general dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Perform dental examinations, patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices.
  • Carry out dental procedures such as dental extractions, restorations, crowns, bridges, implants, and other restorative treatments.
  • Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Take and interpret medical imaging (X-rays) while applying knowledge of anatomy to accurately diagnose issues.
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to foster long-term wellness.
  • Document all procedures thoroughly in medical records with accurate medical and dental terminology.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry techniques that optimize patient comfort and clinical productivity.
  • Ensure all clinical activities comply with legal regulations and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Experience

  • Valid DMD or DDS license in good standing with the state licensing board.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions and root canal therapies efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
