Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist (General Dentist limited to Pedo or Pedodontist) to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental staff to provide exceptional patient care and support within the clinic environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance service delivery.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license to practice in the state of employment.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is a plus.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a dental setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per day
