Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and skilled Associate Dentist to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high standards of patient comfort, safety, and treatment effectiveness. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well-established practice with a focus on delivering exceptional dental services and fostering long-term patient relationships. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with a team of experienced dental professionals and utilize advanced dental technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
  • Conduct oral surgeries such as dental extractions and root canal therapies with precision and care.
  • Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure patient safety.
  • Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education and professional development activities.

Skills

  • Proficiency with dental practice management software such as open dental
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred.
  • Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently.
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment planning and education.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
  • Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient assessment and team collaboration.
