Associate Dentist, Part-Time

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating a strong understanding of general dentistry principles. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive dental services in a comfortable and professional environment. We are seeking to fill a part-time position within our practice Upland CA, approximately 1 to 2 days per week. (Every Friday)

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide a wide range of dental services, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure the safety and health of patients and staff.
• Utilize medical imaging technologies for diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Fabricate dental appliances as needed, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental practices, including pediatric dentistry techniques when applicable.

Skills

• GREAT restorative skill set (busy, fast-paced environment)
• RCT experience a PLUS.
• Surgical Extractions desired.
• SPEED and QUALITY
• Experience with Medi-Cal office, PLUS!!!
• Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
• Proficient in medical documentation and patient care management.
• Ability to perform detailed patient assessments effectively.
• Experience with medical imaging technologies for diagnostics.
• Competence in four-handed dentistry techniques to improve workflow during treatments.
• Skills in dental fabrication for creating custom dental appliances.
