Position Overview

We’re seeking an Associate Design Engineer to join our product development team. In this role, you’ll help design, test, and launch new sporting goods—from basketball hoops to pickleball gear—working alongside engineers, manufacturing, and product management to bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Use CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) to design and develop products
• Build and test prototypes to ensure performance, reliability, and safety
• Collaborate with manufacturing and product teams to create practical, market-ready designs
• Research competitor products and generate innovative design ideas
• Maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and calculate cost estimates
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and certifications
  
  
  

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering Technology, or related field
• 0–2 years of professional engineering experience (internships/co-ops welcome)
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent) and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Passion for sports or background in team sports a plus
