We’re seeking a creative, driven and innovative Digital Content Manager to actively grow, monitor and engage with our online communities through social media and manage the robust content on our website. The ideal candidate is engaged in the community, excited to write, interested and “plugged in” into the Utah lifestyle.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with Wordpress or other CMS software.
- Experience managing social media platforms and using scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite).
- Experience with email marketing platforms, namely Mailchimp.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Editorial content writing and copywriting experience, ability to write to brand voice and maintain consistent style and brand “attitude.”
- Quick learner who takes direction and feedback well.
- Detail-oriented, creative and flexible.
- Team player who works well with others in a collaborative environment
- Experience implementing digital marketing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in communication, journalism or marketing
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and photo editing.
- Proven understanding of Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter insights and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
- Able to utilize a range of techniques including paid media, SEO and email marketing.
- Experience growing online audiences and increasing conversion rates.
- Video/audio editing skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic and engaging web content to grow brand loyalty and increase brand awareness and traffic.
- Create original web and social media content, oversee and direct online content creation and edit and repackage contributor and magazine content for web and social media.
- Respond and engage with social media and web audiences.
- Design and manage our email marketing campaigns, provide analytics and client-based results on a regular basis.
- Troubleshoot questions, issues and complaints quickly and efficiently.
- Analyze social media and web campaigns to provide thoughtful, strategic insight to our marketing, editorial and production efforts.
- Go above and beyond to help the team in various tasks, as needed.
