Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Master’s degree or MBA preferred
Minimum 18 years of progressive experience in refinery planning, scheduling, supply chain management, distribution optimization, or S&OP
At least 5 years in leadership roles
Expertise in advanced planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Aspen PIMS, Aspen Petroleum Scheduler)
Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience engaging with C-suite executives
Proficiency in data analytics, AI, and digital transformation tools preferred
Knowledge of integrated business planning, demand forecasting, sustainability practices, and global energy markets is a plus
Role:
Develop and implement commercial optimization strategies across refinery planning, scheduling, distribution, supply chain, and S&OP
Align initiatives with client business goals for profitability, efficiency, and sustainability
Lead refinery planning and scheduling models and drive digital tool integration
Optimize distribution networks and collaborate with logistics teams
Lead sales and operations planning processes, facilitating cross-functional alignment
Mentor and build high-performing commercial optimization teams
Engage senior leadership and external partners to align business priorities
Champion adoption of advanced technologies and innovation
Lead pilot projects for commercial optimization solutions
