Associate Director – Design Development

Lead and oversee the end-to-end design development process , ensuring alignment with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Manage multidisciplinary design teams (architecture, structural, MEP, landscape, ID) to deliver integrated, high-quality design solutions.

Define project design strategies, frameworks, and standards , ensuring consistency, innovation, and technical excellence.

Review and approve design submissions, drawings, and specifications , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and constructability.

Provide expert guidance and technical direction to resolve complex design challenges and ensure optimal design outcomes.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to facilitate efficient design delivery.

Monitor design progress, timelines, and deliverables , ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Conduct regular design audits and quality checks to maintain high standards and mitigate risks.

Lead value engineering initiatives , optimizing design solutions without compromising quality, safety, or functionality.

Support procurement teams by preparing technical scopes of work, reviewing proposals, and evaluating design-related submissions.

Ensure effective integration of sustainability principles and innovative technologies into the design development process.

Prepare and present design reports, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
