Job Overview:Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in the NY Metro, Philadelphia, or New Jersey area)
Reporting into the President of Vespyr Brands, the Associate Director of eCommerce will be responsible for developing and managing the ecommerce portfolio. She/He will use their past experience to provide insight and knowledge of the online marketplace (Amazon,
Walmart.com, and others) to leverage the brand portfolio. Utilizing brand assets current marketplace technology to profitably grow the digital channel of trade. They will also create processes and procedures required to execute the strategy, working with cross function teams to drive market share, brand awareness, and ultimately revenue.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, brand design, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the eCommerce strategy.
Manage the user experience of the product and website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
Oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing.
Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, outside agencies, executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects.
Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability.
Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
From time to time additional responsibilities or projects may be assigned by the president to assist division partners in the growth of digital businesses.
Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
In depth knowledge of online marketplace.
Proven experience with eCommerce projects.
Experience with B2C and digital marketing platforms
Knowledge of e-commerce technology.
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience and/or additional eCommerce.
