We’re looking for an Associate Director, Engineer to:

• Design, build, and support modern user interfaces for applications. Design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services provided to clients and employees.
• Ensure optimal performance and user experience. Apply a broad range of software engineering practices including analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment.
• Utilize tools, technologies, and software development methodologies to augment the efficiency and functionality of user interface designs. Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of company solutions by applying digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary & Work Schedule: $170,000 to $186,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. You’ll be working in the Engineering team in Weehawken, NJ.

Education & Experience Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Software Engineer, Team Lead, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Developing applications in Javascript and React within the financial sector; Application Development in Java, Spring, Spring Boot; HTML; CSS; Oracle PL/SQL; React JS; Git; API design, implementation, and system integration using REST API’s and messaging technologies including Kafka and MQ; Developing microservices and cloud development; and Azure WebApp.

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:

• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 170000 - max USD 186000 /annum
