This role is focused on originating and closing new business opportunities with institutional clients across Southeast Asia.The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in institutional sales, with deep experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers across Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Central Banks, Insurance companies, and Endowments. You will be responsible for driving strategic engagement and securing mandates through a consultative approach. Responsibility of the Role : Originate and win new institutional business in Southeast Asia, meeting or exceeding annual sales targets through independent initiative and strategic execution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level institutional clients with a focus on long-term engagement and trust. Demonstrate deep understanding of institutional client segments, including their investment needs, regulatory environments, and decision-making processes. Lead and execute complex investment campaigns, collaborating with internal stakeholders across investments, marketing, legal, compliance, and research. Drive mid-term tactical planning to navigate long sales cycles and regulatory shifts, positioning the firm for future mandates. Represent the firm in RFPs and product pitches, aligning client needs with firm capabilities. Provide tailored investment solutions and insights, leveraging knowledge of ALM, risk management, and regulatory frameworks. Contribute to product development and go-to-market strategies, offering market-relevant ideas and feedback. Support existing mandates with high-quality servicing and relationship management, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Requirement for the Role: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Minimum 6 years of institutional sales or investment experience within asset management or related financial services. Proven track record of originating and closing institutional business, particularly in Southeast Asia (Please submit anonymised deal sheet with application) Demonstrated success in building and sustaining relationships with Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Central Banks, Insurance firms, and Endowments. Comprehensive understanding of strategic asset allocation and the underlying asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. Strong understanding of institutional investment vehicles including commingled funds, separate accounts, and ETFs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write impactful reports and proposals. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagement stages simultaneously. Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and contribute to broader business strategy.
