About the Role
TAP is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and mission-driven Associate Director, Technology & AI Operations, to strengthen and scale our digital infrastructure.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Technology, this role serves as a cross-functional systems operator - ensuring that TAP’s technology stack, CRM, data infrastructure, and AI workflows effectively support Growth, Service Delivery, Talent, and Operations.
This is a hands-on role with increasing strategic exposure. You will both maintain core systems and implement improvements that drive efficiency, data quality, and scalable impact.
This is a full-time, remote-first position (40 hours/week; 4 days/week considered), with occasional in-person meetings and events in the NYC metro area. TAP promotes a flexible, trust-based work culture, with an expectation of responsiveness within 24 hours.

Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Infrastructure & Systems Operations
- Own and optimize TAP’s digital technology stack, ensuring stability, integration, and documentation across platforms - Mailchimp, Wix, Qgiv,Register.com, Google Workspace, and related tools
- Help maintain TAP’s core digital tools (Salesforce, Monday, Zoom, Lattice) by handling day-to-day updates, configuration, and troubleshooting under the guidance of the Senior Director of Technology
- Implement improvements in coordination with the Senior Director of Technology to improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and increase operational efficiency
- Maintain and enhance TAP’s website, ensuring strong user experience, SEO/AEO best practices, and Google Analytics monitoring of traffic and performance to inform ongoing improvements.
- Support digital marketing operations, including list management, segmentation, and campaign infrastructure
- Provide structured onboarding and ongoing systems support for staff
CRM, Data Integrity & Reporting
- Help maintain high standards of data hygiene, accuracy, and security across systems in alignment with TAP’s privacy, IT, and AI governance policies
- Support CRM optimization efforts, including deduplication, segmentation, tagging, and data architecture improvements
- Support cross-platform data integration initiatives (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp, community platforms)
AI & Automation Implementation
- Help implement practical AI-powered workflows aligned with TAP’s AI roadmap and governance policies
- Configure and maintain AI-enabled tools using automations in no-code/low-code platforms, with oversight from the Senior Director of Technology
- Identify high-impact use cases where AI can safely increase efficiency and data quality
- Operationalize documentation, access controls, and training materials to ensure responsible AI use
- Track performance and adoption of AI initiatives to ensure measurable value and share with the Senior Director of Technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
- 2–4 years of experience in technology operations, CRM systems, data management, or digital infrastructure
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and SaaS tools
- Working familiarity with AI concepts, Python, and comfort with CSV/JSON, SQL fundamentals
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a scaling organization
- Passion for TAP’s mission and commitment to equity and inclusion
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience
- Generous PTO
- 10 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays
