Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide expert endodontic care, specializing in root canal therapy and other complex dental procedures. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes, alleviate pain, and restore oral health. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care and clinical excellence are prioritized. The Associate Endodontist will also support general dentistry needs, contribute to infection control protocols, and uphold the highest standards of medical documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other advanced endodontic procedures with precision and care
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging interpretation using medical imaging tools
  • Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop personalized treatment plans that meet patient needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards
  • Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures
  • Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, post-procedure care, and oral health maintenance strategies
  • Assist in dental fabrication processes when necessary for restorative procedures such as prosthodontics or dental restorations
  • Support the dental team with general dentistry services when needed, including dental extractions and pediatric dentistry procedures

Skills

  • Proficiency in endodontics, including root canal therapy, retreatments, and surgical interventions
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices
  • Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record keeping
  • Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures and oral surgery with confidence
  • Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort
  • Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and the use of medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate communication and detailed medical documentation
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times
