Associate Engineer

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of senior technical staff and in collaboration with engineers across disciplines, the Associate Engineer will contribute to:

Software development
of tools, utilities, and components for secure communication and post-quantum cryptographic systems

System integration and testing
, including the development of automated test scripts and test frameworks
-
Quality assurance (QA)
and
verification
activities, including debugging, issue tracking, and regression testing
-
Design, implementation, and execution of test plans
, test cases, and validation procedures
-
Building and maintaining prototype setups
, including physical and virtual system environments
-
Preparing and supporting customer deployments
, including configuration and environment validation
-
Conducting training sessions
and providing technical guidance to end-users or partners
-
Technical documentation
(test reports, user manuals, deployment guides, etc.)
-
Supporting root cause analysis
, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
-
Cross-functional collaboration
with development, product, and security teams
-
Other duties as required by the evolving scope of QuantumGate’s engineering and product roadmap
Required Skills and Competencies

Understanding of
software development lifecycle (SDLC)
and version control practices

Proficiency or hands-on experience with:

Programming & scripting
: Python, Java, MATLAB, VBA

GIT, Gerrit, GitLab, confluence

Productivity / collaboration tools
: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience with
Linux/Unix environments

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

of relevant experience through internships, academic projects, or entry-level roles

Interest or background in
cybersecurity, post-quantum cryptography
, or secure systems is desirable

Ability to work effectively in a
