Job Description

Emirates NBD is seeking an Equity Research Associate / Senior Associate to join its sell-side equity research team. This is primarily a support role that involves a mix of quantitative analysis, report writing, and communication with various stakeholders. The main responsibility lies in working with lead analysts and helping them in stock coverage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building, maintaining, and updating detailed financial models (e.g., discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis) to project future company performance and valuations.
• Collecting and interpreting financial data from various sources, including company reports, regulatory filings, and industry databases (like Bloomberg or FactSet).
• Assisting in the preparation and writing of detailed research reports, which include quarterly earnings alerts, stock reports, and broader thematic pieces on industry trends in the MENA region.
• Monitoring covered companies and their respective sectors to stay abreast of market developments, earnings releases, and other relevant news flow.
• Interacting with internal teams (analysts, sales, trading) and external parties (institutional investors, company management teams, industry experts) to communicate research findings and gather insights.
• Performing various administrative and ad-hoc duties to support the team lead in their research efforts.

The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in financial software, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A keen interest with at least 6 years of experience in the financial markets of the GCC and MENA region is needed.
