Associate External Audit

Position:

The current vacant position is for the role of (Associate External Audit UAE National)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of external audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors by perform auditing tasks such as verifying financial records, conducting ratio analysis, and testing transactions.
• Collect, analyse, and document financial data and information from client systems and prepare working papers and documentation to support audit findings and conclusions.
• Help in assessing the compliance of financial statements with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, IPSAS) and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of clients internal controls over financial reporting.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and documentation necessary for the audit and assist in addressing and responding to client inquiries and requests under the guidance of senior staff.
• Actively engage in learning opportunities and training programs provided by the firm and stay informed about updates and changes in accounting standards and audit methodologies.
• Work as a part of an audit team, contributing to team discussions and sharing insights and cooperate to ensure a cohesive and efficient audit process.
• Follow the firm s and best practices methodologies and quality standards, and relevant regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks related to audit engagements as required and assist in managing and organizing audit files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting, auditing or related field
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
• Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
