Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be proficient in a variety of dental procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and treatment planning. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to determine the oral health needs of patients.
- Provide a range of dental services including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and treatment methodologies.
Skills
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to the field.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and the ability to provide care for children in a friendly manner.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis.
- Ability to perform root canal therapy and other complex procedures with precision.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical practice and documentation.
