Associate General Dentist

We are seeking an Associate General Dentist for busy, highly productive dental practice in Fernandina Beach, FL. State of the art office with Yomi Robotic Implant Placement, Cerec, Dentsply Conebeam Imaging, Dentrix, and Waterlase . We would like to find a long-term Associate with interest in future partnership options, who is open to mentorship in oral surgery, endodontics, dental implants placement, and cosmetics.

Job Descriptions:

• Diagnosing oral diseases
• Promoting oral health and disease prevention
• Creating treatment plans to maintain or restore the oral health of their patients
• Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Ensuring the safe administration of anesthetics
• Monitoring growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Performing surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Performing restorative procedure: Fillings, Root Canal Treatments, Crowns and Bridges, and Implants
• Performing basic periodontal procedures
• Oral Surgery training is prefered

Salary:

• 30% of collections with lab off the top
• $550 daily stipend or collections, whichever is greater, for the 1st six months, then based on collections with lab off top thereafter

Experience:

• General Dentist: 7-10 year (Preferred), but open to less experience with the right Associate.

Hours per week:

• 30-39

• General Dentistry
• Cosmetic Dentistry

Dentist Requirements:

• DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in Florida (License must be in good standing)
• Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
• Malpractice insurance
• Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics
• Good management skills
