We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, in a professional and compassionate manner. The Associate General Dentist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across a broad spectrum of general dentistry procedures, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, encompassing procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize clinical skills in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Operate and manage dental office technology including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery within the practice setting.
- Stay current with advances in general dentistry, including dental fabrication techniques and new treatment modalities.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; license to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred.
- Skills in pediatric dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, oral surgery (including dental extractions), and dental fabrication are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform patient care with compassion while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $93,413.86 - $112,498.41 per year
