Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment experience. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, from routine check-ups to complex dental surgeries, while maintaining a focus on patient education and preventive care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients' oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infection.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Epic or similar systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education as required.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
- Experience with dental fabrication techniques is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient records.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a busy dental office setting.
