Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on both preventive and restorative dentistry. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
$850/day for the first 6 months, then 25% of production
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and provide guidance on preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance practice efficiency.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry..
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology is essential.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental procedures.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
