Associate General Dentist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with expertise spanning various dental procedures and patient care practices. Duties

• Perform a wide range of general dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced dental technology and software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for documentation and treatment planning.
• Provide specialized services such as pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication when necessary.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
• Document medical records accurately within electronic health record systems while adhering to medical terminology standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members on clinical procedures, infection control practices, and dental terminology.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with certification to perform comprehensive dental procedures.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting with familiarity in dental office operations and patient management.
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery techniques including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics procedures.
• Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, medical imaging practices, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of patient care.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding medical documentation and patient privacy is essential. Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
