Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient education, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients, utilizing advanced dental technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. The Associate General Dentist will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional dental services in a professional and caring environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans covering general dentistry procedures such as dental restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Conduct dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other surgical interventions with aseptic technique.
  • Utilize dental fabrication tools for crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic devices as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral health care practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient care efficiency.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development and training.

Experience

  • Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Prior experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and infection control procedures.
  • Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and other general dentistry procedures is essential.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental practice and proficiency in medical imaging techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $121,700.00 - $219,300.00 per year
