Associate General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Our ideal candidate will be very comfortable with his/her abilities and average production numbers as this is an independent contractor position without a base salary. While our team is well trained and highly supportive, the level of daily production will be determined largely by the doctor preforming the services. We are seeking a doctor with long term interests that could evolve to ownership/partnership in the future. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing their skills in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
• Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in general dentistry
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients
• Maintain comprehensive medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols
• Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures
• Operate dental imaging equipment effectively for diagnostic purposes while ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with team members to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery and optimal outcomes
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties relevant to patient care

Requirements

• Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate General Dentist
• Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures
• Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix Ascend or similar practice management systems
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical/ dental documentation standards, and imaging procedures
• Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
• Understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health assessments and treatments

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $84,492.27 - $101,754.13 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
