Associate Graphic Designer

Overview

PENNEP has the contractual open position for an Associate Graphic Designer to join our client's team. Candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing social media posts, reels, and videos that enhance engagement with our audience. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling through visuals, experience in social media content creation, and proficiency in video production tailored to news articles.

Responsibilities

• Design and create visually compelling graphics for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and reels.
• Develop engaging short-form videos and animations to accompany news articles and enhance audience interaction.
• Collaborate with editors and content creators to conceptualise and execute designs aligned with the organisation’s brand and tone.
• Optimize visuals for multiple platforms, ensuring compatibility with varying dimensions and formats (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Edit and refine video content, adding text overlays, transitions, and sound effects as needed.
• Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate innovative design ideas to improve audience engagement.
• Manage a consistent design style and branding across all content formats.
• Organise and maintain a library of templates, graphics, and video assets for future use.
• Work on tight deadlines to deliver high-quality designs in a fast-paced news environment.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in design software canva
• Experience in creating content specifically for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
• Strong skills in video editing and motion graphics.
• Ability to conceptualise and execute creative ideas quickly.

Pay: From ₹150,000.00 per month
