The Associate HR Consultant within Talent Acquisition is responsible for executing full cycle end to end recruiting (i.e. planning through onboarding). This position will provide hiring leaders a consistent and efficient experience through process transparency, recruitment planning, continual communication, and facilitation of candidate selection. The Associate HR Consultant will own the talent acquisition process, will strive to attract top talent by providing an exceptional candidate experience through process efficiency and timely status updates. This position collaborates with the business and other areas of HR to ensure compliance with existing employment laws and emerging legislation.

Job Responsibilities


  • Execute full cycle recruiting activities for positions represented by collective bargaining agreements, professional/technical positions, seasonal & class hiring initiatives, and student programs
  • Hold recruitment planning discussions with hiring leaders
  • Create, post, and distribute job listings to state websites, national job boards, outreach partners and diversity agencies
  • Source applicants through resume databases, social media outlets, diversity networks, corporate business resource groups, and other recruitment sources
  • Review applications and select candidates for phone screens, job specific testing, and interviews
  • Administer automated phone screen creation and live phone interviews
  • Partner with the Recruiting Coordinator to schedule job specific testing, interviews, and physical evaluations
  • Create interview guides, facilitate candidate selection, initiate pre-employment process, and perform offer development, and extension
  • Initiate new hire onboarding process

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills


Preferred Qualifications


  • HR Internship experience
  • Talent Acquisition experience

Pay Range Minimum
: $66,898.00

Pay Range Maximum: $100,347.00


The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
