What Will You Do?:
Associate In-House Counsel – Home Office Claims
Join Federated as an Associate In-House Counsel in Home Office Property and Casualty Claims. In this role, you’ll provide legal guidance and recommendations to assist Federated’s P&C Claims team on claim-related matters and litigation involving Federated and its policyholders. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of training and education for claims personnel and participate in various claims-related and cross-functional initiatives that enhance Federated’s operations. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, based at Federated’s national headquarters in Owatonna, Minnesota.
Qualifications Required:

Juris Doctorate

Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in private practice, demonstrating the ability to successfully provide legal advice concerning tort, property and workers’ compensation claims, and to assist in evaluating insurance coverage issues.

Strong legal analysis and problem-solving skills

Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
Associate In-House Counsel pay range is $114,400 to $154,800. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors, individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information can be discussed with a member of the Recruiting team.
