Responsibilities

The role is responsible to assist and support Internal Audit team in executing audit assignments as per the Audit Methodology approved from Audit and Risk Committee

  • Assist the audit team leader in IT infrastructure, IT operations, ERP systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation audits, and follow-up assignments.
  • Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues; reviewing and analyzing IT, cybersecurity, and ERP evidence; and documenting processes and procedures.
  • Conduct audit fieldwork, including reviews of IT, ERP systems, and cybersecurity frameworks, and prepare working papers as per the approved audit programs.
  • Verify the information gathered to identify any existing or potential internal control weaknesses in IT, ERP, and cybersecurity processes.
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with various policies, procedures, and regulations, and report findings to the audit team leader.
  • Collect sufficient information to support the execution of all audit steps as per the approved audit program.
  • Timely escalation of any delays to the audit team leader.
  • Prepare work-paper files for all audits performed in a systematic manner, ensuring that audit findings are duly supported by and cross-referenced to supporting documents.
  • Ensure that evidence of sample testing and other audit procedures is duly documented.
  • Ensure that assignments are completed within the agreed timelines with efficiency.
  • Support and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
  • Participate in the development of a knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and adoption of company values across all functions’ employees, and be a team player to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
  • Enhance the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP.
  • Develop and maintain productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with co-workers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications in IT auditing, cybersecurity, or ERP systems are desirable, such as:
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Proficient use of MS-office
  • Good in spoken and written English and proficient in Arabic speaking and written skills
  • 0-1 year experience in internal / external auditing
  • Good ability in analyzing and solving issues effectively
  • A robust collaborator and effective team player
  • Delivery-oriented professional with proven records of delivering success Well-versed in written and oral communication
