ASSOCIATE LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
Full-Time | Residential Landscape Design & Build
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Landscape Designer to support our design, estimating, sales, and installation teams in delivering exceptional residential landscapes from concept to completion. This role blends creative design, customer interaction, and practical field coordination—ensuring every project reflects our clients’ visions with accuracy, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
This is a growth-focused position with the goal of advancing into a Landscape Designer role within 1–2 years based on skills, performance, and initiative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Support
- Prepare design presentation materials including renderings, plant palettes, and layout plans
- Conduct site measurements, surveys, and photo documentation
- Produce accurate CAD and 3D drawings reflecting design intent
- Research and recommend plant materials, hardscape elements, and custom features
Estimating Support
- Assist with cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals
- Review plans to determine material, labor, and equipment needs
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor pricing databases
- Support bid comparisons and value-engineering options
- Coordinate with suppliers, artisans, and subcontractors for material sourcing
- Help track project budgets and provide cost-saving recommendations
Installation Support
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure design accuracy during installation
- Support scheduling, material ordering, and installation logistics
- Assist with on-site quality control and progress documentation
- Communicate design intent to crews and help resolve minor discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in landscape design, estimating, or project coordination preferred
- Proficiency with CAD, 3D rendering software, and Google Suite (estimating software a plus)
- Knowledge of grading, drainage design, and hardscape detailing
- Strong plant identification and horticultural knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively in both office and field settings
- Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
- Passion for residential landscape design and construction
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a creative, high-quality team
Physical Requirements
- Regular site visits and occasional travel to project locations
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
