Job Description: Associate Manager/ Solution Manager -SEO
Objectives:
Accountable for SEO working closely with Digital Banking, Web Management, Digital Marketing and Products team to implement execute SEO optimization capabilities which drive measurable lift on digital business goals. The role requires an outstanding stakeholder management and in-depth technical knowledge of SEO, digital analytics tools, page optimization, content optimization, onsite and offsite optimization, internal and external link building, keyword research and strategy. Strong knowledge of SEO tools is a pre-requisite, with deep hands-on experience with running SEO and Analytics tools. It entails significant complexity and scale in terms of designing, implementing, and optimizing customer interactions, working closely with the Web, Marketing, Analytics, IT, Products on improving SEO performance and organic visibility.
The SEO Lead will co-lead the vision and implementation of SEO strategy along with Head, SEO and other team members, working amongst a cross-functional team in ideating SEO initiatives, prioritizing & conducting rapid tests. The SEO Manager will be ultimately responsible for activation and operationalization of each SEO improvement initiative, with delivery of the test and learn programme across all digital platforms. Ultimately, he will act as a facilitator and connector between core team members of the cross-functional agile squad and external stakeholders who manage key marketing technology platforms.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Define SEO strategy along with Onsite lead and drive alignment with partner teams and LOBs
  • Monitor Organic Search performance of ours and top competitor sites daily
  • Analyze and Report on Digital Marketing KPIs: Monitor, track, and report on key digital marketing metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, ROI, customer acquisition costs, and engagement across channels.
  • Adobe Analytics Expertise: Leverage Adobe Analytics to track, analyze, and provide detailed insights into user behavior, campaign performance, and website performance.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders, using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Define and track KPIs for ongoing SEO and content initiatives
  • Audit and troubleshoot our web pages (using automated audit tools/manual updates) and develop roadmap to help implement required changes
  • Lead SEO improvement initiatives across on site/off site optimization, Internal/external link building, Keyword research strategies, Title, description, keyword - meta data optimization, Header tag optimization, Anchor text, image alt tags optimization, Content optimization, Content hub strategies
  • Act as an internal SEO champion and evangelize SEO best practices in different internal forums & communicate acquisition updates/ plans to the wider organization and leadership on a regular basis
  • Update and Maintain bank wide SEO with Best Practice Guidelines
  • Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends in the industry. (i.e., SGE, BERT, Core Quality Updates, etc.)
  • Maintain a good working knowledge base of articles and learnings. Have test and learn initiatives as a POC.
  • Identify gaps in the processes and works with the products, marketing, and digital team in filling these gaps.
  • Take a data-driven approach in the creation of audience profiles that in turn form the basis of SEO strategies. Based on the findings of her/his research and analyses, the candidate needs to prepare and leads content pitches and other SEO strategy proposals for senior leadership
  • Own interaction points with members of core team (e.g., web developer, digital marketing specialist, copywriter, analytics specialist) and any other relevant stakeholders to get SEO improvements done
  • Act as “air traffic control” for SEO channel – has strong understanding of SEO and other channels
  • Lead team in conceptualizing and designing SEO initiatives across lines of businesses
  • Engage with data analytics to assess & report test performance and projections
  • Manage dependencies and efficiently communicate plans, issues and results with senior management on a proactive and regular basis
  • Collaborate with a range of partners, e.g., Web Management, Online/Mobile platforms, Digital Banking, Digital Marketing, Marketing agencies, Legal, Compliance, Security

Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in developing and implementing SEO programs for a largescale brand; Experience of working with Agile development teams a huge plus
  • Analyze and Report on Digital Marketing KPIs: Monitor, track, and report on key digital marketing metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, ROI, customer acquisition costs, and engagement across channels.
  • Adobe Analytics Expertise: Leverage Adobe Analytics to track, analyze, and provide detailed insights into user behavior, campaign performance, and website performance.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders, using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • Expert knowledge of SEO principles; strong preference for good knowledge of SEM principles as well; Proficiency with the in-depth workings of SEO in addition to the entire end to end SEO lifecycle and user journey optimisation
  • Knowledge of SEO Leading and Lagging Indicators that drive business value
  • Expert knowledge of SEO tools, including Ahrefs, Pi Datametrics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster tool, Lumar, and Link Research Tools, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization UX & Landing Page optimization
  • Working Knowledge of other analytics and data visualization tools, including Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google Data Studio, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Knowledge of Web Development and Front-end management, with ideal exposure to JSS/CSS coding

  • Experience in Retail banking is a major plus
