Associate Manager for Facility Design Quality in Novo Nordisk Engineering

About the role
As an Associate Manager in FD Quality, you will, together with your team, be a part of our Facility Design area – a cross-cultural team that in Denmark employs around 250 employees and consultants working closely together with our colleagues located in India.
In this position, you will contribute to shaping the department’s direction and development. You will work in close partnership with line managers, project managers, and quality teams at NNE to strengthen quality standards across all facility disciplines.
Your responsibilities include driving targeted quality training, conducting reviews and process confirmations, and supporting development initiatives to ensure consistently high quality and that the facility discipline’s perspectives are represented.

How you might spend your days
As Associate Manager in FD Quality, you will work in a cross-disciplinary and collaborative environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Daily management of up to 10 employees in quality roles across facility disciplines

Close cooperation with the Facility management team, contributing to the definition and implementation of strategic goals for FD Quality

Supporting and challenging projects and disciplines to maintain high-quality standards in accordance with internal and external requirements in an GMP environment.

Execution of facility quality activities in complex pharmaceutical projects, accounting for about half of your working time

Collaboration with project managers, line managers, and sales to ensure resources and competencies are available for projects

Development of competencies, tools, and design methodologies within Facility Quality

Planning and execution of discipline development, reviews, process confirmation and training activities related to quality across FD disciplines

The job will require weekly presence at both our Virum and Kalundborg offices

What you bring to the role

A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or another relevant academic field.

At least 5 years of experience in quality roles within the pharmaceutical or engineering sectors, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position (such as team leader, line manager, or project manager)

Documented experience from a pharmaceutical or engineering consultancy

Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP and GEP)

Strong familiarity with facility design disciplines and all phases of project execution

Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken
