Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as an Associate Manager - HR in the garments industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations, with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for skilled and unskilled labor within local communities.
- Execute outreach initiatives such as field visits and distribution of recruitment materials.
- Maintain and update a labor database, ensuring accurate tracking of recruitment progress.
- Conduct candidate screening to meet organizational requirements.
- Manage payroll functions, employee leave records, and prepare periodic leave reports.
- Handle employee claims with government authorities (PF, Maternity, etc.).
- Review and update legal documents, certificates, and licenses to ensure compliance.
- Monitor workplace operations to address and resolve compliance issues proactively.
- Manage Work Injury Compensation cases with efficiency and care.
- Plan and execute employee welfare programs, company events, and team-building activities within the allocated budget.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Collaborate with department heads and management to provide guidance on HR policies and employee relations.
- Coordinate with the production team to foster a smooth and collaborative work environment.
- Generate and present periodic MIS reports to management on key HR metrics.
Requirements:
- MBA or MSW in Human Resources is mandatory.
- Minimum 7+ years of HR experience, preferably in the garment/textile industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and payroll management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
