Associate Manager - Operations

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Associate Manager – Last Mile Operations to lead and manage our end-to-end last mile delivery network. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in vehicle and driver management, route planning, and on-ground operational execution to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day last mile delivery operations ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment.
• Manage driver performance, attendance, and productivity; ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards.
• Handle vehicle allocation, maintenance, and utilisation to optimize delivery routes and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams, delivery partners, and clients to resolve operational challenges promptly.
• Track delivery KPIs including on-time performance, cost per delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and control operational expenses related to manpower, fuel, and vehicle maintenance.
• Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and process standardization.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly operational reports and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory, and transportation regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in last mile delivery operations, preferably in a B2B or B2C logistics setup.
• Proven experience in driver and vehicle management.
• Strong understanding of route planning, delivery SLAs, and operational KPIs.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and operational tracking tools or dashboards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-ground operations environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
