Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

The Associate Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, entry-level role designed to develop technical and operational capabilities within the manufacturing function. Over a structured 15-month period, the incumbent will gain hands-on experience in production processes, continuous improvement, and engineering support, with the objective of progressing to the next grade upon successful completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Assist in analyzing production processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance
  • Support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
  • Assist in the development and update of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare basic reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, electrical, Mechatronic Engineering.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Development & Progression:

This role is part of a structured development program lasting 15 months. Upon successful performance and completion of the program, the employee will be eligible for promotion to the next engineering grade.
