Position Summary:
Ethos Biosciences is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Marketing/Product Manager, Intern to support our marketing and product teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in life science marketing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy within a dynamic diagnostics development and manufacturing business. You'll work directly with cross-functional teams — including marketing, product management, sales, R&D, and operations — to support the continued commercialization efforts of our product portfolio and help bring new initiatives to life.
This individual should have a foundation working in the health or natural sciences (biology and/or chemistry) and hands-on exposure to medical and laboratory products. This role will support product management activities across regulated life science environments, including product documentation, lifecycle support, and cross-functional collaboration. Adept at translating scientific concepts into clear, market-ready product information for laboratory, clinical, and medical technology applications.
Full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks (based on university/school availability); 8:00AM – 5:00PM schedule
Support Senior Product Manager in the planning, maintenance, and optimization of assigned product portfolios.
Assist with product lifecycle activities including product launches, updates, extensions, and discontinuations
Maintain and organize product documentation such as specifications, technical data sheets, IFUs, and SDS
Support marketing initiatives, including tradeshow/event coordination, campaign/collateral development and conduct market and competitive research (benchmarking) for medical and laboratory products
Support internal and external product inquiries by providing technical and scientific information
Track product performance metrics, customer feedback, and field-reported issues
Ensure product information aligns with quality and regulatory requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
Assist Development Team and Application Departments in compiling/reporting product comparison studies and performance reviews.
Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
Genuine interest in life science, diagnostics, or biotechnology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with tools like HubSpot, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Prior lab experience or coursework in biology/chemistry is a bonus, but not required

Familiarity with diagnostic, laboratory or medical products
Familiarity with regulated laboratory environments (CLIA, CAP, FDA)
Prior experience working in regulated environments (FDA, ISO, IVD, medical devices)
Prior experience working in a clinical, hospital, or reference laboratory
