Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Marriage & Family Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in behavioral health and a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective behavioral therapy techniques. The therapist will work collaboratively with clients to address their unique challenges and foster healthier family dynamics.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities to support families in achieving their goals.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 standards to accurately assess client conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in family therapy and behavioral health.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in behavioral health settings, particularly working with families.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and patient assessment methods.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes, including the use of ICD-10 codes.
• Knowledge of working with individuals with children is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to confidentiality standards.
