Smart Counseling and Mental Health Center seeks a passionate Associate Clinician to provide comprehensive mental health services to veterans, first responders, and their families. Premium Compensation Package ($50,260-$78,000+ annually):

• Clinical rates: $30-$35/hr (based on accumulated hours)
• Administrative work: $20/hr with a 1:5 ratio to billable hours
• PAID supervision: Receive $1,040+ annually vs. paying $50-250/hr elsewhere
• Total compensation: 25-35% above industry average

Note: Range based on 100-140+ monthly hours. Full-time qualification begins at 100 hours.

Position Overview

Provide individual, family, and group therapy while conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions. You'll work in a supportive, mission-driven environment serving those who served our country.

6-Month Pathway to Full-Time (Billable Hours):

• Month 1: 20-30 hours | Month 2: 45-55 hours | Month 3: 55-65 hours
• Month 4: 70-85 hours | Month 5: 85-100 hours | Month 6: 100+ hours
• Qualify for full-time benefits with 100+ hours for 2 consecutive months

Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• License/Certification: Current associate registration with CA BBS (APCC, AMFT, or ACSW)
• First Registration Only: Must be working under your first associate registration number (those with subsequent registration numbers are not eligible for private practice employment)
• Location: Must be a California resident
• Commitment to trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with veterans/military populations
• Availability for evening and weekend hours
