Associate Network Operations Engineer

Desktop Engineer Summary:

This Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting and engineering enterprise desktop environments to ensure stability, security, and performance. This role will manage workstation technologies, endpoint integrations, and Service Desk operations while collaborating with Infrastructure, Security, and Offshore Support teams to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement desktop and Service Desk solutions under team supervision.
  • Support Windows and macOS workstations including troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Manage workstation deployments, printing, telephony, audio/visual, and network connectivity.
  • Investigate and resolve hardware and software incidents with limited oversight.
  • Document all support interactions within the service management platform.
  • Maintain consistent communication with end users until issue resolution.
  • Coordinate daily work queues with offshore desktop support staff.
  • Install and configure approved corporate software.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for company hardware assets.
  • Contribute to Help Desk documentation, policies, and process updates.
  • Partner with Information Security teams to identify and remediate risks.
  • Apply IT Service Management Best Practices to improve service delivery.
  • Support mobile device management platforms for secure device configuration.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in desktop engineering and support.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and security principles.
  • Experience integrating storage, networking, and Endpoint technologies.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools including Jira.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Preferred:

Relevant certifications including A+, Network+, MCDST, or Microsoft technology credentials.
