Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate (AMFT, or APCC) or Licensed Therapist (LMFT or LPCC) who is skilled in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, most of whom specifically want a Biblical foundation for the therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, or family therapy using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
• When appropriate incorporate faith-based resources (including Bible Scripture or prayer) into counseling.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with BBS, legal, and HIPPA standards.
• Participate in supervision (if associate-level) and regular team meetings/trainings.
• Collaborate with other providers and community resources as appropriate.
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active registration or licensure in California as an, AMFT, APCC, LMFT, or LPCC.
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Ability to work respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds and to tailor therapeutic approaches accordingly.
• Willingness and ability to provide counseling in both secular and faith-based formats when requested by the client.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also participating in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing individual therapy to children and adults.
• Volunteer or paid experience working in a non-profit, ministry, or church.
