Associate or Senior Associate, Business Tax Services (US Tax Services)

Overview

KPMG US Tax Services (UAE) LLC is currently seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our US Tax Services Overseas - Business Tax Services practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Provide U.S. tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for a variety of Asset Management clients (e.g., Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-F, 8621, 926, 8832 and Schedules K-1, K-2/K-3).
• Build and manage client relationships
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience in support of client engagements
• Advise clients and be accountable for delivering high quality tax service and advice
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of U.S. partnership, flow-through or corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam or foreign equivalent
• Knowledge of U.S. federal, state and local tax laws, and regulations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information in an advisory or compliance capacity
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate

• A minimum of two years of U.S. partnership, flow-through or U.S. corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
• Experience in tax planning, strategy implementation and the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
